Job summary

Center for Life Management in Salem, NH, is seeking a part-time Residential Counselor to support guests in a 24/7 living program, applying Intentional Peer Support to encourage recovery.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays, 3:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., providing empathetic listening, crisis de-escalation, and help with treatment planning and community resources.

Ideal candidates have relevant human services education or experience, strong communication, and a commitment to trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred or two years paid/volunteer experience with adults with SMI.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support in residences and community settings.
• Assist with treatment planning and goals.
• Maintain timely documentation of services.
• Engage in supervision and team meetings.
• Promote recovery, hope, and community integration.
