Job summary

Easterseals in Concord, NH is seeking a Residential Support Counselor to join a compassionate team. You will promote independence, ensure safety, provide companionship, and support daily living activities in a residential home for three adult women.

This full-time role offers a schedule of Sunday-Thursday 3pm-9pm, with a hourly rate of $24; benefits include health coverage, PTO, holidays, retirement plan eligibility, tuition assistance, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience in human services with high-need/high-risk population.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence and create a safe environment for clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Support with light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry.
• Accompany clients to outings, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan and documentation requirements.
• Receive training in conflict resolution and safety within behavioral health settings.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation : $24 hourly

About the home: This is a home in the Concord area supporting 3 adult women.

Responsibilities :

• The Residential Support Counselor will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individuals care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• (1) year of relevant work experience working with high need/high risk population in the human services field
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
