Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a Residential Support Counselor to join our Community Based Services team in Weare, NH. This full-time role supports individuals in our residential homes, with an hourly wage of $24 and a schedule including evenings and weekends.

You will help promote independence, assist with daily living activities, medication administration, light housework, and accompany residents to appointments and community events, following each care plan and completing daily documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the Human Services field.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote independence for clients in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Support household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Accompany individuals on outings to daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan and procedures.
• Staff receive training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

• Sunday 8a-9p
• Monday 3p-9p
• Wednesday 8a-4p
• Friday 8a-9p

Compensation:

$24 hourly

Responsibilities:

• The Residential Support Counselor will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individuals care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation
• Other duties as needed or assigned
