Job summary

Complete Care at Westfield is seeking a Registered Nurse - RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care within the facility. This role emphasizes supervision of medication administration, routine nursing rounds, and ongoing education for staff and residents' families.

The successful candidate will hold an active New Jersey RN license and possess an appropriate nursing degree, with prior long-term care exposure welcomed.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring medications, blood draws, and other patient care elements.
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times during the shift.
• Provide education to staff, residents, and resident family members as needed.
• Ensure staff are performing duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

Registered Nurse-RN Supervisor Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required
• Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
• Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
