Job summary

Carebase is seeking a Weekend Receptionist to warmly welcome visitors, manage inquiries, and keep the reception area tidy and welcoming. You will ensure refreshments are available and support a friendly, caring office atmosphere.

The role requires weekend availability, 24 hours per week, and is supported by comprehensive training and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Permanent part-time role with weekend shifts.
• Minimum 24 hours per week, weekend availability.
• Full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and sign in all visitors at the office.
• Keep the reception area neat and tidy; ensure visitors are comfortable and offered a refreshment.
• Answer the front door intercom promptly and welcome each visitor.
• Be the first point of contact for enquiries via phone and email; respond promptly and politely.
• Ensure office stationery and refreshments are ordered as required.
• Resolve problems and handle queries from visitors and external/internal parties.
• Promote a cooperative, positive atmosphere within the office; provide extra cover during bank holidays.

About The Role

As our Weekend Receptionist you will meet, greet and sign in all visitors at the office. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the reception area is always neat and tidy and will ensure that each and every visitor is comfortable and has a refreshment whilst in the reception area. You’ll interact with our people on a daily basis - so you’ll be friendly, caring and kind.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

• To answer the front door intercom promptly and ensure each visitor to the office are welcomed.
• To be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries into the office. Answering the phone and emails promptly and in a polite manner as soon as possible
• To ensure that all office stationery and refreshments are ordered as required
• To take responsibility for solving problems and queries brought by visitors or and internal and external bodies.
• To engender an atmosphere of co-operation and positivity within the office dealing with colleagues, visitors and suppliers with courtesy and respect at all times.
• To provide additional reception cover during bank holidays
