Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Part-Time Relief Residential Rear Load Driver for Saturdays and Sundays. You will service customers by collecting waste and recycling, operate various trucks, and support routes across the area.

Candidates must hold a valid Class B CDL, a DOT Medical Card, and be at least 19 years old. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand a map.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, in a safe and compliant way, by emptying trash/recycling containers into truck and hauling to disposal site.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck approximately 300-500 times per day, depending on the assigned route.
• May be required to pull or push containers from enclosures or inside buildings.
• Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at the curb or designated area.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows.
• Maintain and update route & driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body and ensure cleanliness of truck cab.
• Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
