Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to prepare glass for distribution to field teams, meet shipping timelines, and ensure the right parts reach the right technicians. You’ll operate MHE, use RF scanners, breakdown pallets, and assist with trailer offloads on a fast-paced team.

Requirements include 18+, experience with forklift/order picker/reach truck, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work weekends on the 1st shift. Weekly pay and benefits valued over $10k are provided.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Experience with MHE equipment such as forklift, order picker or reach truck.
Weight limit 300 pounds for order picker operation; weigh under 300lbs if assigned.
Ability to perform physical tasks lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions and standing for long shifts.
Punctuality and consistent attendance to help teammates.
Positive attitude with focus on exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Operate at least one piece of MHE such as forklift, reach truck, or order picker up to 40 feet.
Engage in daily warehousing tasks: pallet breakdown and dunnage preparation.
Utilize handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory.
Adhere to safety and PPE requirements.
Maintain a secure and clean work area through housekeeping.
Build steel pallets and prepare them for inventory replenishment.
Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
