Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the weekend shift. You will perform radiographic exams under the Radiologist's direction and coordinate patient transport and related clerical tasks.

The role requires ARRT-recognized training, registry eligibility, and BLS. Expect routine responsibilities, patient interaction, and collaboration with nursing and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients, guests, and visitors to destinations.
• Coordinates daily activities including examinations and clerical duties.
• Performs radiographic examinations under Radiologist supervision.
• Transports patients and provides room orientation.
• Verifies patient registration and directs to appropriate departments.
• Retrieves, cleans, and stores transport equipment.
