Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Full-time Radiologic Technologist for the One Health: Antiquity - Immediate Care department. The role requires performing radiologic exams, maintaining patient records, and coordinating with radiologists. 40 hours per week with rotating weekends, benefits eligible.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registry (or within 6 months), and BLS certification. One year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program required.
• Current ARRT registry or ability to obtain registry within 6 months of hire date required.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Must maintain current certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic exams as ordered by physician.
• Performs routine exams in accordance with department SOPs.
• Checks requisitions for physician notes and/or special instructions.
• Consults with Radiologist or physician as necessary.
• Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
• Operates equipment as directed by demands of individual exams.
• Assists in maintaining adequate patient records.
• Obtains specimens and performs certain diagnostic laboratory tests as ordered by physician.
• Prepares specimens for transport to Medical Center or State Lab for procedures not performed at the specific facility.
