Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain, OH is seeking a Nights Radiology Technologist for Diagnostic Imaging. You will apply radiologic principles to acquire diagnostic images while protecting patients from unnecessary exposure.

ARRT certification and state licensure are required or preferred; BLS is mandatory. The role involves weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) with a 33% pay premium, and a sign-on offer for full-time new hires. Mercy Health offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and registration required
• State licensure preferred (where required)
• BLS certification required and obtained prior to patient contact
• EPIC EHR and PACS familiarity preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and lab work, document for licensed practitioner
• Position and immobilize patient to best demonstrate the area of interest
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment
• Verify informed consent and document pre/post procedures
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopy and radiography; maintain sterile technique
