Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is seeking a detail‑driven Quality Technician to support our high‑speed beverage canning operations on the Weekend Shift. If you value accuracy and want a balanced schedule with a full paycheck, this role fits you.

You will perform QC testing on materials and products, calibrate lab instruments, and document results in real time while supporting audits and environmental monitoring. Training on first shift is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Quality Control role (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar).
• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Collect and prepare samples for third-party laboratory testing.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density tools).
• Communicate quality data and provide guidance to production teams.
• Complete all documentation (MMRs, logs, test records) in real time following Good Documentation Practices.
• Support audits from regulatory and third-party organizations.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and testing programs.
• Assist with calibration programs and customer complaint investigations.
• Cross-train to ensure full quality coverage across operations.
• Follow and enforce all GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support operations through flexibility and overtime as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
