Job description

Fortress Nutrition is growing—and we’re looking for a skilled, driven and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our high-speed Beverage Canning operations on our Weekend Shift. If you enjoy hands‑on troubleshooting, working with machinery/equipment, and being the person who keeps production running, this is a great opportunity to join a fast‑paced manufacturing team.

This role is critical to minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, and supporting production in real time.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Work 3 days and get paid for 40 hours
  • Enjoy a consistent Friday–Sunday schedule while earning a full‑time paycheck—giving you more time off during the week.
  • Be part of a team where your work directly impacts production uptime and efficiency!
Schedule: Weekend Shift
  • Friday – Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 3‑day work week (36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours minimum)
Training Schedule (Required)
  • Monday – Friday, between the hours of 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Must be available to train at least 3‑4 hours per shift to receive hands‑on training on equipment, systems, and processes

Training hours/schedule may be flexible based on your availability, but must be completed during the week between the hours of 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM.

What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment using mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Respond quickly to production line calls and resolve issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
  • Support product setups, changeovers, and general production operations
  • Monitor equipment for unusual sounds, movements, or performance issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with vendors as needed
  • Disassemble and repair equipment, replacing defective parts as required
  • Perform minor facility repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, EPA, etc.)
  • Provide support and guidance to production teams when needed
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures at all times
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
