Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking a Weekend Quality Control (QC) Manager to lead cross-functional analytical, microbiological, and EM operations during weekend shifts, ensuring continuous support for manufacturing and in-process testing under cGMP.

You will review data, drive CAPAs, support regulatory readiness, and mentor QC staff while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a hard science; 5+ years in pharma/FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience with cGMPs, European regulatory requirements, and USP chapters.
• Ability to work weekends and night shifts on-site.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff during off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide cross-functional oversight of Analytical, Microbiological, and EM operations during weekend shifts.
• Review data for accuracy, trends, and regulatory compliance; implement CAPAs as needed.
• Respond to EM excursions and deviations; support investigations and timely documentation.
• Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and customer audits with proper documentation.
• Review and approve SOPs, protocols, reports, and specifications for scientific soundness and compliance.
• Guide method transfers, qualifications, verifications, and validations per industry standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to QC staff across disciplines.
• Maintain awareness of aseptic practices and contribute to contamination control strategies.
