Job summary

Jubilant HollisterStier LLC in Spokane, WA seeks a Quality Control Supervisor I/II to lead daily analytical/microbial lab operations, schedule testing, and review reports. This role ensures training programs, safety, and cGMP adherence while coordinating with Production Planning and Manufacturing.

You will supervise analysts, approve results, and drive continuous improvement through inspections, equipment recommendations, and investigations of non-conforming results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related hard science.
• 3 years’ related laboratory or pharmaceutical experience.
• Microsoft Office
• Manual Dexterity
• Knowledge of chemistry, statistics, computer-assisted data processing, and good-manufacturing practices is desirable.
• Must utilize scientific literature and make effective written and oral reports that are clear, accurate, and logical.
• Must have good understanding and knowledge of cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule the analytical testing in the Analytical/Microbiological Quality Control Laboratory.
• Approve the analytical test results prior to release from the laboratory.
• Oversee the training of new analysts and recommend training improvements.
• Maintain training compliance on all procedures.
• Adhere to plant safety programs and GMP regulations.
• Supervise analysts and assist with solving technical problems.
• Oversee performance management for direct reports.
• Conduct periodic laboratory self-inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Assess and recommend acquisition of laboratory equipment to improve efficiency.
• Investigate unexpected, out-of-trend, and out-of-specification test results.
• Design and lead studies to address product or procedural problems.
• Approve procedures, protocols, and reports.
• Engage in internal and external client communications; propose resolutions.
