Qualifications

• Active California PTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Successful NPTE for PTAs.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Composure and professionalism in fast-paced clinical env.
• Strong organizational skills; manage priorities independently.
• Team-first mindset for skilled nursing/post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Implement resident treatment plans per care plan.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional performance.
• Monitor and document resident responses to therapy.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Complete accurate documentation per regulations.
• Maintain HIPAA and infection control standards.
• Support discharge planning and transition-of-care activities.
• Participate in team meetings and quality assurance initiatives.
