Job summary

Barnes Aerospace in East Granby, CT is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee machining and production of precision components. You will manage people, maintain records, and ensure TPM/OEE targets are met while coordinating with shifts and cross-functional teams. A Bachelor’s in manufacturing/engineering is preferred and ERP/MRP experience is required.

• 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in aerospace/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workers in machining and producing precision parts to meet schedules.
• Performance management, interviewing and selection of new employees.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Ensures TPM/OEE and safety compliance; drives continuous improvement.
• Coordinates production with other shifts and units for smooth transition.
