Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, BS/BA, or associate’s with equivalent work-related experience (4 years) or 10+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience and 5+ years of manufacturing experience involving machining preferred.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or 5S; working knowledge of MRP and Quality Control systems.
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Excellent computer skills; prior knowledge of Siemens Energy applications, customers, processes, and products.
• Conflict resolution experience with an hourly workforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong focus on safety, OSHA compliance, and corrective action for unsafe practices.
• Monitor production performance, analyze results, and collaborate across departments to meet business goals.
• Manage workforce planning, including staffing, training, temporary labor needs, attendance tracking, and employee development.
• Authorize overtime, address personnel matters, and support disciplinary actions while fostering a productive environment.
• Adjust production schedules and allocate resources to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives with effective leadership and decision-making.
