Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA in Torrance, CA is seeking a Production Group Supervisor I to oversee a production group, drive efficient manufacturing, ensure safety and quality, and implement LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead a team, schedule workloads, coordinate with maintenance, and mentor staff to meet deadlines while upholding ISO/HSE standards; the role requires a Bachelor degree and 2+ years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing Processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production group activities to meet goals.
• Schedule work and coordinate with other supervisors.
• Drive OEE improvement by addressing bottlenecks.
• Enforce LEAN projects (PSM, CONWIP, KANBAN, 5S).
• Maintain HSE compliance and safety audits.
