Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage an assembly, machining or processing department within a manufacturing setting with a focus on safety, quality and throughput. You will oversee day-to-day operations, promote a performance-based culture through metrics and daily production meetings, and lead continuous improvement initiatives including LEAN projects.

Applicants should have 5–10 years of supervisory experience and relevant degrees; salary range is $85,000–$95,000,

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with 5-10 yrs experience (pursuing degree)
• BA/BS degree with 3-5 yrs supervision/leadership experience
• Knowledge of lean tools and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Reviews production orders and schedules to plan department operations.
• Oversees development and monitors work teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Prepares production schedules and coordinates daily activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications.
• Reviews production and operating reports to control costs and prevent delays.
• Ensures compliance with Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs).
• Drives Continuous Improvement projects within assigned area and measures effectiveness.
