Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage assembly, distribution, machining or processing in manufacturing with focus on safety, quality and throughput. Lead daily production meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes LEAN projects, training programs and ensuring adherence to QAPs and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with 5–10 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• BA/BS degree with 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership.
• 5 years of supervision/leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production orders and schedules to plan department operations to meet delivery dates.
• Oversees development and monitors work teams to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Prepares production schedules and coordinates daily activities to ensure quality and on-time output.
• Reviews production data to measure efficiency and identify savings opportunities.
• Develops and revises standard operational practices to ensure compliance.
• Assists in training manufacturing personnel and promoting cross-training.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement projects and Lean initiatives.
