Job summary

Millerbernd Manufacturing Company is hiring a Production Operator 2 for the Sauk Rapids, MN facility. This role supports weekend production activities, operating various machines and performing quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

The position requires attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a high-performance environment. The role offers weekend shifts (Fri–Sun, 5am–5pm) with a $2.50/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints
• Experience with precision measuring tools and hand tools
• Ability to work with others in a high-performance team
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Operate standard and single-purpose machines and use hand tools
• Perform visual and dimensional checks with gauges
• Report defects and machine/tool issues
• Support cleaning, grinding, drilling, galvanizing prep and other production tasks
• Move materials with hoists and handle cranes as needed
• Label parts for routing and maintain internal paperwork
• Support continuous improvement and 5S
• Train others as needed
• Maintain safe work procedures and PPE usage
