Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly manufacturing staff in a fast-paced setting, driving safety, quality, and productivity.

The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday, 5:00am to 5:00pm. Responsibilities include coaching, staffing, continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with policies and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience supervising hourly production employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and production processes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership initiatives to maintain a safe work environment and OSHA compliance.
• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor labor utilization, machine performance, and production efficiency.
• Coordinate staffing and work assignments to maximize productivity.
• Engage in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality concerns.
• Coach and develop production employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
