Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly manufacturing employees in a fast-paced environment and drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

You will coach, develop, and evaluate staff; align production activities with schedules; manage continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen; and collaborate across Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and HR to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience supervising hourly production employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and production processes.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment and lead safety initiatives.
• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor labor utilization, machine performance, and production efficiency; drive continuous improvement.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality concerns.
• Lead, coach, and develop production employees; conduct evaluations and provide feedback.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR; communicate expectations and results.
