Job summary

Advocate Health Wake Forest Baptist's Outpatient Physical Therapy Department is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support our outpatient teams with weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care and have strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, state licensure, and CPR certification; MS or DPT preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy; advanced degrees preferred.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state with current licensure.
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with evidence-based care.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations and discharge notes.
• Meets department productivity standards and adjusts schedules as needed.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Supervises students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality care.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians and staff.
