Job summary

The Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide PRN weekend coverage. The PT will assess referred patients, develop and supervise rehab plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PT program, an active Tennessee license, and preferred experience in geriatric care. Competitive pay and benefits are offered for this patient-centered position.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs).
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Provide direct patient care and develop treatment plans.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals.
• Document patient conditions and progress; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and adhere to professional standards.
