Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for PRN weekend coverage at our facility. The role focuses on assessing patients requiring rehabilitation, designing goals, and delivering direct patient care under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate will supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient-centered treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold a valid professional license/registration for state of practice.
• Oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care preferred.
• Well-versed in documentation writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and set goals.
• Establish and administer treatment programs under physician direction.
• Document patient condition and educate patients/families in therapy methods.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Perform duties with professionalism and ensure timely attendance.
