Job summary

San Marcos Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our weekend team in San Marcos, TX. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and provide skilled rehabilitation to geriatric patients in a post-acute setting.

The role emphasizes wound care, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and real-time collaboration with families and caregivers. Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required, and new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• PT license is required.
• Open to all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled interventions in line with regulatory standards.
• Administer procedures as part of the plan: manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, assistive devices, wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and other care providers.
• Generate discharge summaries to document services and ensure regulatory compliance.
