Job summary

San Marcos Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for weekend coverage to join our in-house therapy team. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver rehabilitative care to patients with mobility and functional disorders.

Qualifications

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

SAN MARCOS REHABILITATION – SAN MARCOS, TX

Join our team and start making a difference! San Marcos Rehabilitation is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for weekend coverage to join our in-house therapy team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
