Job summary

Grand Terrace Rehabilitation & Healthcare in McAllen, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves screening, evaluating, and implementing rehabilitation plans for geriatric patients in a post-acute setting.

We provide opportunities to deliver skilled treatment, wound care, and counseling to patients and families, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and high-quality care. New graduates are welcome and licensing must be current.

Qualifications

• Must hold a self‑certified Physical Therapy license.
• Open to therapists at all levels of experience; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
• Deliver rehabilitation, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Administer manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided.
