Job summary

The Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) PRN to join our facility. Primary need is weekend staffing, but all candidate availability will be considered.

The PT will assess referred patients, provide direct care, develop and administer treatment plans, document progress, and educate patients and families. Experience with long-term or geriatric care and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to write evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in PT methods.
• Oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and collaborate with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and professional standards.
