Job summary

First Day Homecare - Michigan is seeking a licensed RN for day shift homecare in Burt, MI. You will perform skilled nursing tasks under physician orders and coordinate with the client’s care plan to deliver high-quality in-home care.

The role emphasizes 1:1 patient care, adherence to Nurse Practice Act, and collaboration with the care team. Schedule includes Friday–Monday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm, with a focus on client safety and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN in the state of operation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Follow client care plans and document changes in medical records.
• Administer medications and monitor client conditions.
• Collaborate with the care team and ensure client safety.
• Comply with agency policies and payor accreditation standards.
• Attend agency meetings and coordinate care.

• Adult aged client in Burt, MI. Day shift nurse needed Friday-Monday 8a-6p

Job Summary

Performs skilled nursing functions in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and within the guidelines of professional standards and the Nurse Practice Act. All nursing services provided will be under the direction of medical practitioner (MD, DO, NP, PA, etc.) orders.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Provides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
• Maintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.
• The scope of clinical practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payor and accreditation standards.
• Participates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
