Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for weekend option evening and night shifts in Indiana. This role involves rounds, medication administration, treatments, physician consults, and close collaboration with the director of nursing and staff.

We require an active RN/LPN license in good standing with experience in long-term care, strong judgment, and solid communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and licensed in the state of work.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds to assess residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications as charted and required.
• Administer treatments and monitor responses.
• Consult with physicians and communicate with nursing leadership and staff.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties - Registered Nurse (RN, LPN):

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements - Registerd Nurse (RN,LPN):

• Long term care experience preferred
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN,LPN) in good standing and currently licensed in the state they work
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
