Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with licensure in the state of work.
• Long term care experience preferred.

• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents' physical, emotional and social needs.
• Prepare and administer medications per chart and orders.
• Administer treatments as prescribed.
• Consult with physicians on care plans.
• Communicate with the director of nursing and care staff.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties - Registered Nurse (RN, LPN):

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents

• Prepares and administers medications charts as required

• Administers treatments

• Consults with physicians

• Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements - Registerd Nurse (RN,LPN):
