Job summary

Westpark a Waters Community in Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for weekend option with evening and night shifts. You will provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to meet resident needs.

This role requires current RN or LPN license in good standing, long-term care experience preferred, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate residents’ physical, emotional and social needs.

This position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Specific Duties - Registered Nurse (RN, LPN):

• Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff

Job Requirements - Registerd Nurse (RN,LPN):

• Long term care experience preferred
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN,LPN) in good standing and currently licensed in the state they work
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
