Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Physical Therapist for its Acute Care Rehabilitation unit in North Carolina. This full-time role requires licensure in the state, a PT degree (B.S., M.S., or D.P.T), and CPR/BLS certification.

Expect a 32-hour work week with weekend rotations and a relocation bonus of up to $7,500 for qualified candidates. You will assess and treat patients, document care, and ensure quality outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state of applicable state
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Ensures patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive and according to the Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes and discharge notes per policy.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient needs.
• Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services and recommends evidence based improvements.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers and shares clinical expertise.
