Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for full-time day shifts with rotating weekends in North Carolina. The role involves acute care and outpatient rehab, assessing patients and delivering individualized therapy to improve function and reduce pain.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, NC PT license, BLS within 30 days, ACLS/PALS within six months, and has at least 1 year of experience or ASLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and possess a North Carolina Physical Therapy License.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care appropriate to identified problems and involves the patient.
• Plans and carries out individualized physical therapy programs to maintain or restore function and alleviate pain.
• Performs therapy interventions using standard PT techniques appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Directs and supervises PT assistants, students and staff; assesses competence and delegates tasks.
