Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Physical Therapist for inpatient acute care. The role evaluates, plans, directs and administers PT programs to restore function and independence upon physician referral.

Responsibilities include seven-day service, patient education, and coordination with the care team, with supervision of PTA/ Rehab Tech as required for licensure. Bachelor’s in PT and NC license required, BLS per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• NC license for Physical Therapy required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients in an inpatient acute setting seven days a week.
• Develops patient-specific PT programs and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and charges as needed.
• Supervises PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
• Communicates patient progress to physicians and care team.
