Job summary

IVIRMA Global is seeking a Weekend Phlebotomist for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. The role involves drawing blood for laboratory procedures in infertility diagnostics and maintaining a patient-friendly atmosphere.

The candidate will perform venipuncture, label and transport specimens, and ensure compliance with OSHA/DEP regulations while supporting clinical staff and patient comfort on weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
• Phlebotomy program completion preferred (required in some states)

Responsibilities

• Identify patients accurately and explain venipuncture process
• Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge as required
• Store and transport specimens to preserve integrity
• Maintain a clean, stocked phlebotomy area
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
• Reassure patients to ease anxieties
