Job summary

IVIRMA Global is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist at our Basking Ridge, NJ location to draw blood for laboratory procedures supporting fertility care. You will work every other weekend from 5:30am to 11:30am and collaborate with clinical staff to create a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of venipuncture experience in fast-paced settings, completion of a phlebotomy program, and proficiency with EMR and MS Office. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program; certification preferred in CA, WA, TX as noted.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and perform venipuncture with proper labeling of specimens.
• Draw blood, label specimens, and centrifuge as required.
• Store and transport samples according to procedures to maintain specimen integrity.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and maintain a clean phlebotomy area.
• Reassure patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.
