Job summary

IVIRMA Global in Basking Ridge, NJ is seeking a Weekend Phlebotomist to draw blood for laboratory procedures and support patient care. The schedule runs from 5:30am to 11:30am, with responsibilities including patient identification, venipuncture, specimen labeling, and proper handling to maintain sample integrity.

Ideal candidates will have a Phlebotomy Program certification (highly preferred in some states) and at least 3 years of venipuncture experience in fast-paced environments, plus EMR

Qualifications

• 3+ years of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients
• Perform venipuncture and collect specimens
• Label and centrifuge specimens
• Store and transport specimens maintaining integrity
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations
• Maintain clean and stocked phlebotomy area
• Provide comfort to ease patient anxieties
