Job summary

Central Admixture Pharmacy in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Pharmacist to cover weekends. The role involves preparing compounded sterile products under aseptic technique, supervising IV technicians, reviewing orders, and ensuring compliance with the State Board of Pharmacy and CAPS SOPs.

The position requires a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, 1+ year of related experience, and a TX license, plus ACPE IV Certification. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday with rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or PharmD required.
• 1+ years related experience required.
• TX Pharmacist license required.
• Completion of ACPE accredited IV Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique and CAPS SOPs.
• Ensures pharmacy compliance with State Board of Pharmacy and other regulators.
• Reviews orders and prescriptions for admixing and dispensing.
• Provides after hour On Call coverage as needed.
• May supervise IV Technicians and interns; reviews work for accuracy.
