Job summary
Slate Healthcare is seeking a pharmacy technician to support the pharmacy team with Pyxis refilling, IV and non-sterile compounding, and daily pharmacist support. The role includes covering every other weekend and day/evening shifts in a collaborative environment with modern equipment.
You will work with experienced staff to ensure accurate medication preparation and efficient service in a busy pharmacy setting.
Qualifications
- Experience in pharmacy operations preferred.
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing system is a plus.
- Ability to assist pharmacists and support daily pharmacy tasks.
Responsibilities
- Refill Pyxis machines.
- Compound IV and non-sterile medications.
- Assist pharmacists in daily duties and patient care.
- Cover weekend shifts as required.
