Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in prescription processing and verification, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid foundation in pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding workflows and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working collaboratively with Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacists in a cleanroom or compounding environment.
• Skills in inventory control, including ordering, rotating stock, and maintaining appropriate levels of sterile supplies and medications.
• Strong customer service skills for clear, professional communication with patients, providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Previous sterile compounding experience (503A or 503B) and familiarity with USP <797> and related standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound sterile medications in compliance with USP standards.
• Verify and process prescriptions, support order entry, labeling, and packaging.
• Conduct final checks within the scope of licensure and manage inventory.
• Collaborate with providers and internal staff, addressing patient inquiries professionally.
