Southend Pharmacy, a modern 503A compounding pharmacy, seeks a PRN Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join weekends. Texas-licensed pharmacist with Pharm.D or B.Pharmacy and at least one year in sterile practice is required. Competitive pay $60/hr, no visa sponsorship, and local scheduling support.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D or Bachelors in Pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License issued by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in sterile pharmacy practice.
• Expert proficiency in USP <797> standards for sterile compounding and adherence to relevant cGMP regulations.
• Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and strong communication for teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Compound prescriptions with precision and care, following USP <797> and regulatory standards.
• Verify prescription accuracy and ensure timely and accurate medication verification and distribution.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to manage orders, records, and sterile workflow.
• Oversee and replenish sterile product inventory.
• Engage in research to improve compounding techniques and formulations.
