Job summary

Rock Health in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking Personal Care Aides to provide weekend support to clients. You will follow detailed care plans, assist with daily activities, and help with basic personal care while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include documenting tasks, maintaining infection control, and coordinating with supervisors. Candidates should have at least 6 months caregiving experience, read/write well, and be 18+.

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience validated through references.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Follow client care plans and complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
Assist with basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal prep, feeding, oral hygiene, and mobility equipment.
Ensure safety, infection control, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Support clients with self-help activities and respect privacy and confidentiality.
Notify supervisors of any changes in client condition or safety concerns.
Assist with light household tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
Only assist with self-administration of medications and not directly administer medications.
