Job summary

Proforma Health is seeking caregivers to provide weekend home care in the Rocky Mount area. You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, and use electronic systems to complete tasks.

Responsibilities include safety and infection control, maintaining privacy, encouraging client independence, and reporting changes to supervisors. Basic medication assistance is provided without administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or ability to read/write.
• At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Following individualized care plans and completing daily tasks via electronic systems.
• Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, and meal preparation.
• Utilizing safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Supporting clients with self-help and encouraging independence.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the Patients' Bill of Rights.
• Monitoring client conditions, reporting changes or concerns, and notifying supervisors of unsafe situations.
• Providing basic assistance with medications, without direct administration.
