Job summary

Health Marketing in the Rocky Mount area is seeking a Weekend Personal Care Aide to provide in-home support for clients. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a home setting.

You will follow care plans, assist with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and light oral care, and support self-administration of medications (without direct administration). EVV timesheets must be completed accurately, with attention to safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience with references.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Following client care plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, and meals and oral hygiene.
• Utilizing equipment like walkers and wheelchairs safely.
• Encouraging clients' self-help and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Notifying supervisors of health changes, safety issues, or concerns related to client wellbeing.
• Respecting client confidentiality, privacy, and rights.
• Providing quality care within scope, avoiding tasks beyond credentials, and seeking guidance when needed.
• Assisting with self-administration of medications (without direct administration).
• Reporting any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions immediately.
