Job summary

Health Here seeks Personal Care Aides to provide compassionate home care in the Rocky Mount area, primarily on weekends. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of validated caregiving experience are required.

The role involves following care plans, completing daily tasks via EVV, and encouraging clients' self-help activities. Care duties include bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (special diets), feeding assistance, oral hygiene, and use of assistive devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months validated caregiving experience.
• Excellent communication and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the client's care plan and complete daily tasks using EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Support clients with self-help activities and activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, ambulation, meal prep, feeding, and oral hygiene.
• Use assistive devices as needed while maintaining safety and infection control protocols.
• Report safety concerns, changes in condition, or potential abuse to supervision.
