Job summary

Santé Group in Westminster, MD, is seeking a PT Peer Recovery Specialist (weekends) to join the Carroll County Crisis Response Team. The role provides on-site mobile crisis support, including assessments, crisis intervention, and crisis-plan development.

The position requires weekend in-person shifts, a HS diploma or equivalent, CPRS certification (or plans to obtain) within a year, and a valid driver’s license. Santé offers certification assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least two years of related experience.
• CPRS certification or willingness to obtain within one year; Santé will pay for certification if not already held.
• At least two years in full recovery and three years of lived experience with mental illness, substance use, or a co-occurring disorder.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Self-identify as a Peer and provide peer support to consumers and families.
• Assist in on-scene assessments, including danger, suicide, and environmental assessments.
• Perform crisis intervention and stabilization, including de-escalation and crisis planning.
• Create referral recommendations and develop treatment plans using agency/community resources.
• Partner with local law enforcement and other community providers.
• Complete documentation in a thorough and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
