The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care and accurate documentation, including patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering calls, collecting payments, maintaining HIPAA-compliant records, and assisting clinical staff with transfers and post-visit instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• CPR Certification must be obtained prior to hire.
• Valid state driver's license may be required.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register patients in various systems.
• Answer all phone calls professionally and courteously.
• May collect monies for time-of-service patient responsibility.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorization.
• Perform preliminary screening of patients prior to procedures.
• Transport patients to/from the exam room and assist with transfers.
• Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation in electronic systems.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and assist clinical staff with image delivery.
